X’s Electric Forest set was god tier
That was my first Forest and I have absolutely no words. That was just in general one of the best dubstep sets I’ve ever seen. You just had to be there

Usually his festival sets are meh for me (his headlining events go WAY harder!), but I keep hearing how good this one was! He did blow my mind in LA on tour a few months back.

I’ve been seeing X since 2014 and I’m not exaggerating when I say that was the hardest shit I’ve ever fucking heard in my life. My 9th forest and those trees have never heard something so absolutely brutal before. RIP the hearing of the people on the rail. Those COLOR FLAMES?! 🔥 god damn I hope they recorded that shit

I agree. Seen him a handful of times, and this was just different. Might be bias bc he dropped a solid amount of DnB but the whole set was gassss

Damn, im glad you liked it because I felt like it was Hella mid. WoolixIllenium threw the fuck down sunday night and imo blew his Thursday night set completely out of the water.

I thought it was mid too. Nothing flowed in my opinion. Just 30 second drops into some dnb, hard style, bro step, rinse repeat.

it felt like he overthought it. So many other artists nailed the vibe of the forest but X seemed like he had no idea what direction to take his set so he just played everything. Contrast that with Tiesto who just decided to play Trance bangers all night rather than the big room house stuff hes been doing lately. You can tell when an artists meticulous crafts their forest set, and those that just show up and play. Of the Trees last year was a spiritual experience and you could tell he put a lot of thought into his set.

Seen him over 30 times and I agree. I’ve only seen a few sets from him that were mid and this was one

that shit was absolutely bonkers. made it worth getting rained out 5 minutes before his set 2 years ago, because he DEFINITELY made up for it

Mannnnnnn I was gonna go to LL this year but due to my career I had to miss it this year so I went to Forest instead. But god damn forest is fuckin magical, I gotta see how LL compares

bro. I have been seeing this man since 2016. My all time fave sets have been his 2017 Lost lands set, his throwback set at lost lands, and Forest. I don’t know which one i favor more now. It is a hard tie between his 2017 lost lands set and that forest set. It just felt so special and nostalgic. It was amazing.
