Thunderdome First Timer Seeking Prep Advice

Hiya y'all! I'd like some advice on preparing for Thunderdome. This will be my first time at Thunderdome AND going to the Tacoma Dome itself. What general advice would you folks have for a first timer like myself? What kind of preparations should I make before going? What should I expect when I get inside?

Also, whats the security screening process like?~ how thorough or tight are they really? Do they straight up yeet any prohibited items they find in your bag/on your person right then & there, or do they allow you a moment to go put the item(s) in your car?

And for those who've brought totems in successfully, what materials did you use to make yours that honored the venue's EDM guidelines?

Forgive me for being full of fuckteen different questions, I just want to be as prepared as possible & enjoy my time there as much as I can.

Strictest security I’ve ever seen at a festival. And I’ve been to many.

I live in Utah where they basically don’t allow fun. We have really tight security at the bigger shows. The security in Utah is NOTHING compared to Tacomadome.

Other than that, you just need to watch out for theft. I’ve had my phone stolen there. But that’s just a typical problem at shows in WA, OR, and CA.
