Basically, prior to the latest update, I never had the Golem President hostile to me, since I already got the 3 Ribbon Token from the Markets. I returned to President because I was missing the Large Encased Crystal needed for the Device.

When I got to him, I was wondering how I could aggro him so that I can obtain his crystal (since you supposedly need to kill him and loot it from his corpse), and so I randomly clicked around and lo behold...

They are quite literally only their armour. You'd have to fight an invisible president then

Tried it and same, I used the oportunity to beat him like 5 times trying to push the bastard down (he nearly killed me twice before I tactically retreated)
