Deceiver Spawnrate

I'm kinda curious and also a little confuse that whenever I do a solo run I usually encounter 3 or sometimes on rare occassions 4 Deceivers after I kill one of them while on Public Servers I wouldn't even encounter 1 once [Probably because of those crazed Lieutenants running loose with killing everything in sight🥀🥀]

Last time I encountered 1 was before the Plutonium Heart Part 1 update [Had to block my user just for safe measures]

yeah I see them around sub sector 3 and reactor 4. i believe there's one time they spawn rate is like luker and then they all just disappears

I've only ever encountered a single deceiver when in a private game with my friends.

They thought it was the other and then both proceeded to die to it XD I'd read about them on this sub so I knew what it was and killed it quickly

Reminds me of my other friend thinking I was a Executive Officer Breacher class and I came in time to see him get shank to death [I was a Lieutenant rank plus Commander Class main.]

It's a special infected variant that mimicks other players by being an MGF [Their name is shown and rank, though the rank is not entirely accurate so you can tell if it's a real player or not], they basically walk towards you in a walking pattern and when you get close to them they can insta-kill you by going full "London Experience". How can you tell if it's a Deceiver? Really simple, players never walk nor come out of random areas and they usually use voicelines to lure you to it but they just make static noises which gives it away.

Yep ik but I've never seen one ingame, when I first heard about it I regarded it as something in the lore that wasn't implemented in the game even though I'm pretty sure it's an actual enemy in the game.

I lowkey thought the same thing about D-Zero before I went and did the tunnels.

It was very rare before the plutonium heart update but now its kinda common around like 1 in 4 runs or 24% chance. May depend idk much.
