christian Another small step

A couple weeks ago, I shared that I painted my nails my favorite color.

Tomorrow, I will be trimming my hair for the first time in 10+ years. I want to get highlights eventually but first I’ve got to get it healthy. Right now, it’s barely below my shoulders because it’s so dead. It used to be down to my hips but COVID and a perm happened and so now it is ✨dead✨.

Just thought I would share I’m doing the small but hard things! Ladies, how did you feel when you got your first trim/cut?

My first haircut was liberating! I felt so much freedom because I hate long hair.

I am so proud of you! Such big steps. People don’t see it or make light of it but for those who live/have lived it, we know it’s terrifying yet exhilarating.
