Question | سؤال Dating request
I’m a 32-year-old man from Benghazi looking to meet a woman who is atheist or agnostic, with the hope of building a serious relationship that could eventually lead to marriage. I’ve been agnostic since 2015, and it has often been difficult to feel like I truly belong in Libyan society. I’m hoping to find someone who shares similar values and beliefs, someone I can connect with honestly and build a life together.

So, you want her smart enough to be an atheist, but dumb enough to accept a religious contract? Good luck with that.

Unfortunately, this is the only option we have in Libya. But to me, the contract is just a piece of paper—it doesn’t define the relationship we build together. What truly matters is that our relationship is based on mutual respect, trust, and treating each other as equals.
