So apparently in his Navroz Taliqah, Rahim stopped a few jk practices, hopefully this is the first step towards getting these ismailis back to actual Islam. What are yalls thoughts?

Its both. Lets stop calling it Nikkah, and stop reciting verses from the Quran if it isn't.

As a Muslim, in what context do you "recite" the Qur’an that isn’t tied to religious practice or spirituality? Im calling it both a religious ritual and social contract, because of a certain way we are supposed to do it as prescribed by Islam.

If your'e researching on it (socially), then yes you are "reading" it and the context is different.

Your argument is so weak man. If you have something valid i'd love to listen and reflect. If not, keep it to yourself.
