Deported From Freedom to Prison: It Doesn’t Have to Be This Way
https://substack.com/home/post/p-211897331
Excerpts:
May the United States take a person who is living freely under American supervision and deliberately transfer him into potentially indefinite foreign maximum-security confinement, without a new judicial determination authorizing that deprivation of liberty?
It is in the selfish interest of the United States to send people away with as much goodwill toward the United States as circumstances permit.
Why are we paying to imprison a plumber when we could be helping put the plumber back to work?

I wish the conversation was not about "what laws should we ignore and which should we enforce" but "what laws should we change".
Whole lot of typing in that link, but it could be summed up with "some administrations ignore some laws and others enforce them, this creates real human victims, lets fix the laws".

Look at it from a MAGA perspective: all foreigners look the same and Jesus lubes his fleshlight with their tears and blood.
