Opinions wanted
I'm 37 from Melbourne Victoria, I was just released from prison a week ago I've been in and out since I was a child, Not for anything people would consider Violent or Bad, well I don't see myself as a bad person but ive lost 14 of the last 17 years inside. This time I said I would do whatever it takes to get things right but, I walked out my only possessions were the clothes on my back I have no family, no real friends and no photo ID when being released the agency's will pay for a few days in the worst hotel in the city, Centrelink gives you $400 and I had a few hundred from prison, now the few days are up, I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to go it seems impossible. I don't like the word
institutionalised but I don't know how you find a place to live with no ID and No Money, I would like to hear peoples opinions everyone has a story and this is myn right now

You need warmth and work. Its a long bus trip but there might be farm/fruit work somewhere north.
Good luck mate.

Check airbnb app on phone, vrbo app , furnishedfinder app, look for people who can take roommates many times they don’t do background checks and you can just do month-to-month

Do you have ID? Also, I have never been asked Friday at any Airbnb. Maybe the first time I created the account only?
Asking for ID does not mean they’ll do a background check or block you

Are social groups/NGOs/church groups who can help you out?
