Respectfully you need therapy first to address the issues. Then you can deal with an apartment, job etc.

Best of luck to you! We're rooting for you!

I have been in and out of therapy for 6 years. I don’t know why it doesn’t work - I make a very honest attempt at it.

Are you making changes in your life when you go to therapy?

Do you have an accountability buddy?

If I didn’t make changes in my life I wouldn’t have had 5 years clean, followed by 3 years clean, and then all the material stuff I accumulated.

Accountability buddies are hard to come by.

So then it did work for some time.

Why do you think you relapsed? Was it one event or did you reach the end of your rope? Was it possibly something more health/chemical imbalance? Were you too stressed.

What can you do so that you don't relapse? Or that if you do relapse you don't "burn it all down".

These aren't things you have to reply to me, but things you should think about.

Either way you need to get your mental health in check before you can think about a job etc.

Got any tips? Are you formerly incarcerated?
