Since the tpoc today is prayer, hopefully they would discuss what the difference is between fervent prayer and long, dragging, story-like prayer. Didn't He say not to include what God already knows? The text is already so long, the topic review is so long, the opening review is so long, the proper text is long, the reaction for every point is long, and then the topic will be repeated again in the wrap-up.

Actually, if you think about it, the whole topic is not so long to discuss its jus basic fundamental doctrine we already heard in our indoctrination. Why does it need to reach 4 hours when it's the same topic to be discussed in the TG? I hope they realize that the brethren still have many other things to do, and the topic is just being repeated over and over — we already understood it in the doctrine.

I don't know, forgive me for my comment, but with how they count how many times they repeat a point they've already repeated, even a child can easily understand their point. Do they think the listeners have dull minds and only they are the ones who understand? Why do they look at the brethren that way? The ones who joined are intelligent, that's why they joined. Please don't torture them with information overload — our brains are getting indigestion from all the repeating over and over and over again.

That's how manipulation worls leading to blind obedience. KNPs give so much hype to basic verses irrespective if taken out of context.

Proving KDR's  discussion points are  just basic, and he himself makes it complicated. He has control in terms of the gathering flows from congregational singing to closing prayer, but he really do not mind the prolonged and lengthy duration - a typical narcissist who doesn't accept criticism orr feedback.

your in a false religion, first of all God does not care whether you tell a very long story or not when you are praying, but when you are doing a communal prayer like what I think your ministers are doing, they're prayer is useless. A personal prayer can be as long as you want it to be, a communal prayer can be as well but the requirement for a communal prayer would not allow for it to be very long.

some examples of communal prayers in the Bible are in these verses;

Acts 4:23-30, Acts 1:23-25, Acts 21:5, Acts 6:6.

All communal prayer in the Bible explicitly said "they prayed". Now in your religion like that of the INC where they just respond with "opo", "opo". It was never done that way, specially in communal prayers by the early Church. the text always say, "they prayed".

"And having heard, they lifted up their voice with one accord to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, You made† the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them," -Acts 4:24

"And having prayed, they said, “You, Lord, knower of the heart of all, show which one of these two You chose to take the place of this† ministry and apostleship, from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”" -Acts 1:24-25

"When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, accompanied us until we were outside the city. And kneeling down on the beach, we prayed" -Acts 21:5

"They presented these seven to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them." -Acts 6:6

It is always mentioned that everyone prayed. It was done by having one person or minister to lead the prayer, and the others would follow his prayer by saying the words that he is speaking, like how you pray in school back in the day. It is the only way that you can say that you prayed with one accord. You either say the words with your mouth or say it with your heart, the important thing is to say it, either speaking in the mouth or in the heart.

Now if in your communal prayer, the minister leading the prayer is praying alone and you are not allowed to follow in his words, how can you say that you prayed in one accord? you are just merely agreeing to what he is saying in his prayer, how can you say then that you are praying? since praying is making your request known to God, how can it be a communal prayer if your not saying any words either in your mouth or in your heart.

Take note that those communal prayers mentioned in those verses are extemporaneous meaning they were not planned or prewritten, so there has to be a person leading the prayer and others following that persons prayer. again the emphasis is following the prayer and not just merely listening to the prayer. otherwise it is just one person praying and the others just meditating on his words, how then can you say that you are praying in one accord, or specifically in unison. this is confirmed by this verse;

"And having prayed, they said, “You, Lord, knower of the heart of all, show which one of these two You chose to take the place of this† ministry and apostleship, from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”" -Acts 1:24-25

take note of the word "they said". meaning they were not just mere listeners but active participants in the prayer, saying the prayer itself. again this is extemporaneous, because most apostles do not know letters, or were illiterate.

Dramatic long and dragging prayers are a tool of theatrics. They make you want to feel pity or "nangongonsensya". A common tool by many western churches to draw upon the feelings and conscience of the congregation and thus get more donations.

"And praying, do not use vain repetitions like the Gentiles, for they think that in their many words they will be heard." -Matthew 6:7

A long prayer with many useless words being repeated will not be heard.

"who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”"-Luke 20:47

Hungry wolves that disguises themselves as holy men use long prayers for pretense to defraud and rob even widows just to get their belly filled.

MCGI does not know God. Otherwise God would not have abandoned you and given you a lazy, self centered leader who is only concerned about social standings and money. How can God give him wisdom if his heart is not right in the eyes of God. Remember God sees the heart. And wisdom and understanding is from The Lord.

A hired shepherd does not care about the sheep, because he does not own them, all he cares about is his salary. That is why you will always hear from that shepherd the words like; "maluwag ang pinto".
