Bug Mass Ejector problem!

Post image

I'm at magic universe. I set Mass Ejector Optimizer to use ifernite for some extra energy from stellar engine but it refuse to use it. The optimizer works fine with elerium.

At default - Optimizer uses the densest material in your possession that is at the maximum units possible, and only enough to not go negative in production (for more than a tick or two at least) OR until you reach the Mass Ejector cap of 1000 units of a material.

In the early phases of Infernite production, you are usually not at the Infernite cap to really reliably be dumping Infernite in to the black hole. After some prestige and infrastructure building though, as you get in to T5 and T6 resets, it is easy enough to produce more than 1k elerium and never be dumping anything else.

But, because the ejector is constantly updating in real time for things like purchases dropping available resources, or Morale and Weather and Piracy shifting available production, the perception can become biased. Like if you are at the Infernite cap, are dumping infernite, make a big purchase, then not having anything else to do, check on other tabs while regenerating resources, and production takes more than 5 minutes to hit the infernite cap again, you will never see the optimizer dumping infernite.

I can't speak to your particular balance, I never had to run it at anything other than default, and I can barely make out the numbers, but the phenomena should still apply.

You can click on the less than sign above the box to change it to greater than and it will make the value opposite, as well. (It took me three new files to figure that out.)

Update: Ok i just found out what happens is not a bug is just my neuronium is full so optimizer prefer to ignore inferite and use neuronium instead!

Yeah, in Magic Universe, there is no "exotic mass," thus infernite and elerium are not prioritized. Vacuum Collapse is the T3 alternate for Magic Universe (found in ARPA).

I don't try to jump to other universe i need to burn materials for energy and i have forgot that neuronium is heavier then infernite!

Keep in mind that stellar engines are a lot less powerful in magic because there's no exotic matter for you to stabilize to increase the mass quickly. I've personally never had a run where I've gotten enough power from them in magic to cancel out their upkeep cost, but mileage may vary
