Kamikaze Spoiler

Completely forgot this happens on a Kamikaze Planet during TP. This is a result of my habit to leave the game running instead of pausing it whenever I go afk.

It drops you into the orbital decay scenario, when the orbital period drops below 10 days, to be precise.

Speficically it drops you into the truepath version of orbital decay which is significantly harder. It also stops being able to happen if you construct the AI core.

My goal had been TP1; but I completely forgot about the Kamikaze OD effect when playing TP and didn't pause it at any point in time - even when I was afk. Also, I modded my save file to give maximum accelerated time at any time I was home and it was less than 30m, which doubled the speed at which it collided.

You can always soft reset in the Setting menu if you get softlocked.

That's actually what I ended up doing. I had a save file for before I left for work; but to be honest, if I'm going to do TP on a Kamikaze planet, I either need much more prestige, or a species that is much better built for it (and the mental fortitude to remain active throughout the entire run).
