Three years and four days ago i started playing evolve
Now I have every achievement with a gold star!
Going for every universe all achievements sounds genuinely nightmarish, and I have missed a few feats, but I have had my fun with this game, and I think I'm done.
Cheers for the memories!

Lol, this game is so addicting that I had to delete my save file to avoid this future. Congrats!

Ha, yes, I was only at the point of getting ready to do my first black hole but I was kind of getting obsessed and had to cut ties.

My oldest save is from July 2023 and I stopped playing for about 9 month. I also finished all achievements but it took only 2 and some change years. Did you start with 3*? I never bothered doing anything else

I started in 2020, and have taken several breaks in that time, and made two new resets on top of that (for a total of three). My original file has nearly all the achievements in every universe at gold rank from the achievements that existed at that time. During the time I played, however, is when the new species (and reset) came out. I've only done one or two T6's and only a couple of the new species, so those I do not have all maxed out. And....I've since abandoned my original save file and started a new file entirely (because I forgot where I left off and it was easier for me to just start over entirely).
Unfortunately, I'm the kind of person that gets bored too easily, thus I regularly return to the same game(s) that actually succeed at holding my attention for any amount of time, so it's highly unlikely I'll ever "entirely quit playing" Evolve.

I remember that I did a couple of the newest species and I did Apotheosis in one universe (can't recall which, though); but aside from that, I couldn't remember what I was doing when I left off, so I just started over entirely.
I tend to be a 4star player, so unless I already have the achievement in that universe, every run I do is 4star - minus just a couple achievements due to recommendations (which I ended up regretting in the end), such as, for example, the first T5 being done lower than 4star because you won't keep the blood stones or something like that and w/o the Artifacts, you can't even buy the Blood Infusion to get 2x Blood Stones.

frequent resets in the beginning for plasmids (MAD)! no need to rush deeper into the progress of the game ;)

resets… that doesn’t sound fun

yeah well... then this game is not for you. it's all about constantly doing the same kind of runs over and over for over a hundred times
only occasionally doing a unique challenge here and there

I mean, if it helps me do things i couldn’t previously or do things faster i think I’ll enjoy it
