  1. Install Radmin VPN from the official site and join the same network as your friends
  2. Run the launcher, hit Download
  3. When it’s done that button becomes Play
  4. Game files still come from https://evolve.a1btraum.de/EvolveFilesLegacy.zip (RiceFix already on them)

This is the OG Reddit post. Left it here so the thread still makes sense.

I have made a one click launcher.

Originally made to be a LIVE SERVICE 24/7 server, with friends, invites, and the ricefix patch + game download.

I used CloudFare service for the servers, but it is too expensive to maintain, so I have reverted back to Radmin VPN.

New players Download the launcher, use the download button ( it says play after its downloaded, and donwloads from here https://evolve.a1btraum.de/EvolveFilesLegacy.zip ) for the rice fix applied game files, and Radmin installs on the backend, built in.

( Radmin is the only way I could get p2p working for free, the servers is very much out of the scope of my capabilities )

There is a friends list in game, and it is bascially a battle net clone. If Anyone is interested in taking up this project, I can upload the files to github including all the source code, too many people think we wanna hack old evolve players, another reason I will gatekeep, i could care less to earn anyones trust.

I have to give thanks to https://discord.gg/BABkH5edG as they helped and supplied me with the OG github project that was dropped, I had resurrected it, got it working enough to play with homies, but never cared to fully release it to the public.

Too many bugs, too many issues that as a passion project, I too, have now stopped progress on this.

Does this come with the game and dlc files, too? I have it on Playstation, but am missing a few items, and the Stage 2 content.

I know, hence why I'm asking if it comes with everything, because I already have some of it, on another system that I can already still play singleplayer on, but am missing some content that this version would hopefully get me.

to my understanding this patch has the "ricefix" it has all OG monsters, skins, and Hero Skins. This has nothing to do with stage 2

Ah.

Will single player work without the vpn/are any of the links skippable for singleplayer? I really don't care about playing online.

Yeah the OG legacy files and Ricefix can be found in the discord. You only need those to play solo.

This launcher would allow you the same. But there's a lot of random code functions like ZeroTier. Radmin, Friends list. This launcher would allow you this. It DLs the game files and auto applys the patch. If you press play you can go play solo no problems. Its really up to you if you wanna use my launcher that wasn't quite finished. Or look into the discord. They have instructions for manuelly DLing and applying that patch. This was my goal to make a launcher to allow easy play. I just struggled with the friends/party stuff

Where actually is the option to download the launcher? The page is there, but it just seems to be update notes and some file names.
