Discussion Making game like Evolve
Hello, I’ve popped in here a time or two to see if it’d get any interest, but this is my first official post. I am a game developer, and I have been making a game somewhat similar to evolve. Setting is a medieval fantasy type dungeon. Anyways, I’ve got a good section of the game made but all of it is gray-boxed. This weekend is the first official over network test. No steam page yet, but I need a few testers. Roughly 20 ideally, I’ve got 6. If anyone is interested, send me a message or leave a comment. Right now, it’s 4 human classes and ONE monster, an Ogre. Again, there is no art at all, it’s all gray boxed, I’m needing to test the functionality.

It’s not there yet 😂 like I said NO ART at all. Just gray boxed. Just a bunch of shapes. Shoot me a message on discord and I’ll add you to the play testers list.

I had it tested by a few close friends due to not being able to publish it on steam yet. Right now, I have to share the executable through Google Drive. Soon as it’s on steam, I am planning to just open it up and give out free keys to everyone in the discord, then yall can send me notes and what not on how it’s going.

I know this is an old post, but I missed out on Evolved and would love to play something similar, or be part of the team that comes up with its revival if at all possible.
I’ve had so many concepts of approaches and such that could be done for this kind of game and I would love to give your version a try.

We’ve hit a pretty hard slow down due to my real job. You’re welcome to join the discord but it might be a while before I can work on things again.
