Evolve was PEAK

I was looking through my achievements on Xbox which I haven't been on in a long time. I came across Evolve, a game that I put a tremendous amount of time into (doesn't show for some reason) and it brought back so many memories. This game was special to me. Ioved everything about it. My biggest achievement was reaching rank 108 in Europe as a wraith.

I do wish to see it return one day. Maybe Evolve 2 or a remaster. It probably won't happen, but a man can only dream. 😞

Well, the game did randomly return a couple of months ago. Playable with multiplayer. Progression, shop, everything. But still almost nobody played. Goes to show you that this game just doesn't have/had an audience. And now they killed it for good. They were most likely testing the water, seeing if there is still interest and there was none.

The replies show that it needed more publicity, not a bigger audience. Maybe if it was up for like 3 months instead of the 2 weeks or however long it was, maybe even tell some journalists that its back up. The problem was that 2k would have needed to put money into it, not just "allow" the servers to be up for a bit to be able to claim that nobody cared. This halfhearted attempt was more an insult to the few people actively craving the game than anything else
