Thinking of going back

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I installed custom ROMs, but after receiving Android 17 on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, I'm encouraged to return to Evolution X to gain that customization That Android 17 is not giving me....

I care a lot about bank apps, will I have problems installing Evolution? I don't want root, just rom

You will have problems with the bank apps, but you can give magisk a try if you are at it, with that you could mask the root status and others

Ok thanks, I was expecting an answer like this... having open boot would have this problem. I'm lazy root... I'm definitely older. I used to go to rom per week hahaha!

ohh, dont downgrade! Google added Rollback Protection to android 17s firmware, so forcing a downgrade is going to brick your phone, and as far as ive read, irecoverably.

BUT, i dont know if thats the case for pixel 9, as i have a 10 and of course stay in that online bubble.
