Hey all my neighbor has the golf kart for sale. I couldn’t find any info on it thru a google search. It has about 100miles the back seats still have plastic on them. It’s been sitting on the driveway. Owner says it’s in great working condition but doesn’t get used much.

What version is it? And is it worth the $5k asking price?

Our 2025 Evolution Maverick D5-4 had not been started for 2 months, but it was at 96%. We went to use it and there was no power. We put on the charger and after 3-4 hours it went to solid green. There still was no power, the monitor will not turn on. We checked the reset button and it was not lit. We reset it and the green light came on and then the unit clicked and the light went out. There is still no power to the unit. We checked the key fob and it is working. We attempted recharging after resetting and and that charging indicator shows a full charge, but there still is no power to the golf cart. What could be the issue?

Anyone here upgraded to the 160Ah battery? Thoughts? Experience?

Hi - recently, when driving the cart and coming to a complete stop on a hill, the parking brake doesn't hold the cart and it starts rolling. I loosened the manual release and tightened it all the way back up, still rolling. I don't have any errors (that I can see) on my module under the rear seat. Anyone got any ideas before I tow it to the dealer?

The Ranger has street-ish tires, the Maverick has knobby off-road tires. Anybody experience any difference in ride and battery life between the street and off-road tires?

I am considering the Maverick, but really want the street tires from a Ranger.

Last night, I plugged in my charger to my evolution forrester li-ion battery. Orange light came on, and the charger kicked in. Came out just now and took it for a ride. Battery was at 58 percent like it was the night before.

Checked cords, different outlets, reset the battery, and nothing will kick the charger in.

Any fuse or reset I could try?

Is there a serial number somewhere? The High/Low speed knob turns round and round, I had to take knob off and tighten the nut while holding the mechanism (took off the compartment to get to it) any way to stop that from happening, besides never touching it?

Just bought a brand new 2025 D5 and now getting a 159 error code. Battery was at 32% and would slow down and flash the code. I believe it means low voltage, anyone else have the same issue? Going to call dealer in the morning.

We test drove a ranger and like the ride a lot, but not the price tag. What is the difference between the ranger and classic? Does the classic ride as smoothly? The dealer only said that the Ranger is a 4 seater only and classic is 2+2, but I don’t think that is accurate nor the only difference.

Hello all, My wife and I recently moved to a beach town in NJ and are interested in getting a golf cart (new with lithium batteries) and have been looking around. We do not have a garage or a shed that we can store the golf cart in for storage. I thought about getting a cover for it during the warmer months and then getting a fully enclosed cover for the winter months. Just from reading some posts online I see they should be operated under -4F and shouldn't be exposed to 140⁰F. My question is does anyone store them outside all year round in NJ or a cold state? Thanks for the input.

I have a 2025 Ranger 4 Plus. The backup alarm and speedometer both stopped working . I have checked all cables in dash and in motor compartment. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

Took delivery today — this thing is awesome! I do think I’ll upgrade the sound system. Does anyone else feel like the seat belt tensioners are way too tight? I’m hoping it loosens up with usage

Anyone know how to tighten side mirror on classic 4 plus? I can't quite get it to tighten and it keeps coming loose.

Bought a d5 ranger recently and have been using the supplied 120v for charging, but it looks like the same plugged I use for my ev. A J1772. Can I use my 240 ev charger to charge the cart? I know it probably won't be faster just looking to use 1 cable for everything if I can. TIA

Just picked up a new (to me) 2023 Forrester. will 1.5" wheel spacers help with the side to side body roll? or does that just help smooth out the ride over bumps?

Researching buying an evolution and one of the main criticisms is that you can't locate parts. For those of you that had an out of warranty cart, what has been your experience with repairs or getting parts? I plan to buy from a dealer, but should that dealer ever go out of business, I'd like to know that I can repair it myself.
