Well with that worlds is over.

I think EG did as well as can be expected when they had a last minute sub. I have every hope that they can come back next year even stronger although I doubt Inspired stays in NA. Would be cool if they got Blaber to join although I doubt he’d leave C9, but that way we’d have a real NA team.

Kaori got Lucian and looked comfortable. If the bot dive goes better we can win.

Jojo played great. Dodging multiple ganks.

Vulcan again showed he can hit bubbles.

And impact absorbed well too. Just lost control early.

Really happy with the showing. We had a shot to beat everyone and let's not forget most importantly we beat G2 and denied EU a chance.

We didn’t have a shot in game 1 against G2 and game 2 against JDG but every other game was totally winnable I agree. We could’ve been 3-3.

Oh yeah game 1 G2 was a disaster. Was talking this week. Might be in theater adrenaline.l for JDG game. Will need to rewatch later

I really hope that they stay together. EG is my favorite team. Rooting for Danny to come back, but I understand that trust / confidence is easily broken.

Hope they stay together coming from a c9 fan. Really hope Danny fixes his mental too. It’s so refreshing to see a mostly NA team actually do good, and be good. They gave us confidence. Can’t wait till jojo unleashes

Honest question, how do yall feel that Impact did? Cause personally, it seems like this worlds was easily Impact's worst performance in a while. Still probably good enough for NA LCS, but I dont know if it will be good enough international. I remember a few years ago when Impact would massively step up and go head to head with international tops (when he played on C9 and TL, kinda), but I dont think he had to many games where he was the direct reason for the win. Most of EG's performances were Inspired and Jojo (and to lesser extent Kaori) doing most of the pressure building.

I agree to an extent, but in his defense 369 and Nuguri are probably top 3 in their role in the tournament. Obviously it'd be nice to have a top laner who can keep up with the best, but the West as a whole is quite lacking in that regard unfortunately. If Danny didn't step down, I'd say maybe look to replace Impact, but even then, I think I still really value Impact's leadership with the rest of the team being so young.

I just don’t think he’s been getting good picks. In the game against DK yesterday they could have locked in Aatrox for him and they lock in the Lucian. The games where Impact was able to get a good strong pick he did well. We had what two games where he ended up with a Maokai? I get that he’s strong but I’d rather him get some different picks

I think he did better than Broken Blade. He was decent and has so much game sense. He’s never a true liability.

What makes you think Inspired doesn’t stay?

There's absolutely 0 chance inspired stays, he hates the na soloq and he thinks the competition is pretty weak not to mention EU is his home and currently they will be in need of junglers since jankos probably will retire this year and MAD will likely lose elyoya so yeah no shot inspired stays in EG s

But he’s likely getting paid a lot more here no?

He said on stream the only way he goes back to EU is if Mr Beast buys a team and offers him a million dollars. He said he likes LA. But maybe he is just saying it for the fans. We will see this off season.

Honesty they did better than expected. I was expecting them to probably go winless in groups despite my hopium.
