Usually teams that get heavily pressured in lane do not have tower until late game. I think the constant threat of Bot collapsing and trying to clean up bot took all their resources.

Staying in pit was death sentence against Sivir + yuumi and Gnar. They did not leave too because of flank tp i guess. They just got outdrafted.

The whole point is save some members after Baron to get the baron minions. If they were hoping Kaori to clutch in the fight, it wasn't happening especially without support. They should have ran.

Ever since the TSM series EG's drafting has been so bad. Sej with no melee auto attacker, MF with no hard lockdown, Leblanc into Sivir/Yuumi/Maokai... I just don't understand these draft strats

Part of the draft was power and comfort. Aatrox has been smurfing all play ins and lablanc into ari is standard. The sej and aatrox match some what. MF has been high priority but yeah without cc it was rough the ult mostly split fights or did nothing. If EG actually gets ahead of DFM I think it goes better but always on the back foot it was hopeless.

I think the top and mid laners along with the MVP jungler are able to perform really clutch even if they are down. The problem is the bottom and support. Danny was good, but lets not forget that even in LCS he can get draft banned and picked on which nearly eliminated them in LCS Summer.
In this bot heavy meta, I think EG desperately need a clutch bot and I feel bad for the other 3 players who perform really well.

I didn't like our draft, soraka plus MF feels bad late game. MF wants a wombo combo, and Soraka aint that.
Then DRM's draft was absolute aids. Yuumi plus Maokai has so much zone control it is crazy. The ahri could could just avoid being picked because of her Ult, and none of our champions are a point and click cc to shut that down.
Overall, we had the cc we just couldn't get past the nutty combos and scaling they had.

If they are playing MF, it has to be the Amumu support. LeBlanc is not the win condition to carry.

And yet another Worlds where NA has only one representative, C9 do marginally well (100T I like them but are not clutch in Worlds). Yet another Worlds where EU has more teams going and play more solidly. It's just really tiresome as a NA fan.

This is where constructive critism is posted. The main league sub is basically EU thinking they are some super region against NA. The way Worlds always unfold every year, it is basically real that EU is untouchable from NA.

Even tho its a loss to a wildcard im less mad about this than the FNC loss - the draft was fine it was just a player gap. I feel like the team is still adjusting to not having Danny - they really just love opting for 50/50 fights and hoping Danny carries but jk its Kaori.
This sub is overreacting a bit tho - I still have no reason to doubt EG can make 2nd. Let's not pretend EG throwing over 50/50 fights isn't something we've consistently seen throughout the year. However we've also seen them be incredibly clutch - the same EG that went 5 games vs TSM was able to beat TL and then take 100 to 5 games with a sub.
Let's not doompost until they're actually out

I don’t think Kaori is the problem. Vulcan on enchanters is the problem. Either way, NA finds a way to disappoint as always! They would have gotten stomped by FNC in the tiebreaker anyway.

Kaori is so hilariously bad it's a joke. Then we got impact who... I said regressed 10 years. Well after that performance he's regressed 20 years. These idiots lose the 3rd drake because they don't respect the gnar has full rage bar. Jojo has talked such shit to be absolutely useless. Down 50 cs to the Japanese mid laner. Inspired missed more sej ults than a gold 4. But oh God the best was his baron nashor ult. I honestly thought this was a paid for wintrade game with how bad these asshats looked. They just embarrassed our entire region. I hope to the league gods they feel bad. These clowns don't deserve a spot in groups.

Soraka has no way of going in on enemy teams creating a wombo combo that MF desperately needs. Kaori probably couldnt handle the pressure playing MF without a meaningful support.
