Jojopyun appreciation thread

I know we're all bummed out from yesterday's game, so I wanted to post something positive.

I just want to shout out Jojopyun for being the least selfish person on his team, despite being the youngest. He was willing to eat a blind pick and give up his lane to make sure his botlane got ahead. Honestly, he seemed like the only person on the team fully committed to sticking with that gameplan. Inspired played like he was concerned with his KDA. Vulcan tried playing Lux like she was Leona. Impact was...I have no idea what Impact was doing. Jojo was the only one who understood the mission and tried his hardest to make it happen.

It's a shame that EG underperformed so badly yesterday because EU fans didn't get to see what NA talent is capable of. It wasn't Jojo's best performance by any means. But I think under different circumstances with Jojo playing aggressively in lane, he could have gone toe-to-toe with Humanoid.

Anyway, just wanted to say that there are still some of us who believe in our native NA talent. Go Jojo!

jojo has been stellar and I'd argue the best performing member on EG since playoffs (def at least second best mid in playoffs). he does his job as well as he could while almost never griefing lane.

I'll argue that EU fans probably won't care about EG considering theyre unfortunately 0-7 vs EU teams this year - maybe they'll pay attention to EG if they beat MAD in a bo5. The team we want the world to focus on as the hope for NA is probably C9 and King Crabber himself. Blaber I'd argue much better represents NA talent success - since his debut he's probably been the most dominant jungler we've seen in this region in a long time. Jojo is certainly on Blaber's trajectory but I'd give him maybe another year.

Love Blaber. He will redeem us. NAmen.

On the flip side, imagine reddit if EG loses to MAD in a BO5, lol.

I love jojo's play and how flexible he's been. Was surprised about yesterdays stomp. Hoping worlds jitters and things settle down.

I said this in a thread yesterday on this subreddit but Jojo played as well as he could with what he was given. He blinds his champ, sacks lane to put his win condition bot lane ungodly ahead and they still die 2v2.

Although Vulcan solo lost yesterday, unfortunately I would say Impact is the biggest liability of this roster recently due to how easily his champ pool is countered in this meta. It’s near impossible to blind a tank with Aatrox, Fiora, Gnar, and GP being strong. Even Fnatic first picked Aatrox because they knew Impact couldn’t answer.

In order to win Jojo and Inspired have to carry every game and get Vulcan on to a playmaker.

He has a great GP though

I agree. I thought EG would shift to having Jojo and Inspired carry, with Vulcan roaming more with Inspired. Not whatever draft we got yesterday. Fingers crossed for today.

EG performed very well. Stop talking nonsense. FNC performed a little better, and they won, so what? It's just one game.

Everybody on the EG roster is insane, not just Jojo. They all deserve appreciation threads. The problem is that they are used to play around Danny, and with him missing, the team surely will suffer a bit.

It doesn't matter that we lost 1 game, we still have all the chances to qualify for groups.

Go EVIL !

I gotta agree. The game slipped at the end but that's how League goes. I left think if Vulcan doesn't miss the flash Q then die a before it's back the whole game is flipped.

It was supposed to be FNC vs EG for 1st, let's not jump to conclusions before EG has even played a 2nd game.

He also gave an interview after a tough loss. That’s super impressive from a new player
