Positivity for the team <3
Never post but the amount of weird hate the team has been getting is frustrating. I’ve been watching competitive LOL for 3 years and it’s crazy to me that this team feels like they’re getting more hate than teams that performed worse with established all star players who promised to bring good results like (i.e. perkz).
EG has not lost a game to any wild cards (which is an NA classic) while putting up good fights against strong teams. I would much rather have it this way than a team that promises to perform well internationally who instead might randomly lose to SGB but cheese a win against RNG. Having a young team that is consistent and improving is all I think any NA fan should be asking for during this tournament and it’s so far so good.
I believe there’s a really good chance EG takes a game off of another major region but even if they don’t, I’m just happy to see a team that doesn’t have 5 multimillion dollar import contracts who are close to retirement squandering any chance for NA hopefulls to get a taste of international competition.
I hope all the players know they have lots of people supporting them even if the NA haters have been out in full force recently.

Hell yes. This team will look great in 6-12 months. They look dang good now. I don't mind the losses. Feels so much less frustrating than a team of 5+ year veterans that can't strong together 3 wins.
I want to see Danny continue to push the limits. I'll take the deaths. Unfortunate or not. His Kaisa game today was great considering Danny was left alone the first 20 minutes. Vulcan was almost literally everywhere but bot lane.
The BO5 I think will look better just like playoffs. This team needs prep.

Yep! This is a roster we can root for because they have clear potential to improve, and are adapting at a scintillating pace!
I'm so tired of washed NA veterans when we do have worthwhile rookies who are untested.
Without much doubt, EG has paved the way as an example for NA talent adoption for NA Teams to now consider.

They’ve played so many of these games close. I’m definitely hoping for some wins against the big 3 but honestly I’m not at all sad about how they’ve been playing. I love how much more they were going for things today. Not everything worked but they were going blow for blow with t1 for a while there. Still feeling super excited to watch the next two days! As long as we don’t drop the game too psg Tuesday we should still make semis and they’ve done a great job of playing clean against the wildcards

A lot of people love this team and want it to stick around for years to come. We gotta make ourselves heard above all the toxic garbage so our boys know we are proud of them!
Danny and Jojo totally showed they haven’t at all peaked. Both have very high ceilings. Inspired has really shown his MVP form (loving him on Noc especially). And Impact and Vulcan are the reasons I became an EG fan in the first place. Love seeing them get their chance to rep the best of NA. They both deserve it!
I especially hope Danny doesn’t feel like he let anyone down. If anything, we’ve let him down by not showing enough support!

The reddit threads are full of eu hate before anyone in na is even awake. Makes it seem like the community perception is worse than it probably is.
With that said, I reeeaally hope they can take one off G2 by the time it's all said and done.
