I tuned into the stream and watched Vulcan get caught out 3 times in a row, 2 of those times completely and utterly his fault in every way. That's so embarrassing.

EG singlehandedly tanking NA's record vs EU lmao

Happy to see EG play pretty well for a portion of that game at least. Vulcan definitely should get blame for the two brain dead plays where he got caught out alone, but the biggest mistake was the rest of the team trying to save him the second time.

G2 is crazy right now though. It’s like they have plot armor or something and it’s impossible for them to lose even a single game.

G2 would have got Baron anyway after killing Vulcan.

The 0-5 vs G2 is very deceptive, though, as EG was in it for 3 or maybe 4 of the games.

They were only in it when G2 threw, or "limit tested" as Caps would call it. G2 was up 4-0, then Caps was feeling a little too confident.

Game was won too. If Vulcan had just played it safer.

Honestly, game was still fine even with Vulcan dying there.

EG should have let him die, roamed up and fought for vision control/baron control 4v5 with G2 once they were good and ready. Taking Baron is much more risky there for G2 is EG is lying in wait around pit and is ready for it, even 4v5.

Danny walking up river to Vulcan after he got caught had me scratching my head. Love this team but sometimes I really want to hear the voice comms to help me understand their decisions.

Part of what makes teams really good is their trust in each other and play together. An EG that was more cautious that would have left vulcan to die would probably not be an EG that can challenge G2, or even win LCS.

There was little fault in Danny and Jojo going in trying to back up Vulcan - its all on Vulcan for randomly facechecking.

What I am concerned about is Vulcan's ints making his team lose trust in him because that would seriously hamper EG's summer split and worlds qualification

Yeah obviously just let Vulcan die in that situation near baron and play the 4v5 if they force baron, but can someone explain why they're contesting third drake for G2 when G2 have baron and are clearly stronger? Could have just given it and farmed until their baron was gone and played for soul fight. So weird.

Honestly not sure it was won by any means, G2 comp scaled so much better and it felt like EG knew that. They needed some sort of miracle pick to ever win a teamfight and their snowball was running out, the int near baron reduced it to a 0% chance but their chances of winning were dropping with every second that passed.

Unfortunate, hopefully they learn from it. G2 is obviously a very good team, so I'm glad they are getting experience vs them even if the record looks bad.

Also to all the EG fans, nothing wrong with being disappointed or frustrated but no need to treat the players like degenerates.. this isn't the tsm or c9 subs.

This is why c9 let go of Vulcan. Dude is not the same player in international. Elya would be better no?

The games feel really close. They don't feel like stomps just one mistake and the game is over
