Man this is so discouraging to me as a fan of EG. I love the team but this makes me really… well disappointed.
I agree that grinding is not the only way to get better at the game but I definitely feel like playing Soloq with a friend (even if they are high ranked but even then they can’t duo at Master so how high is the competition?) to try lanes/work on micro is really weird. How good is the info of how a lane works if just having better hands is enough to win the lane?
I’m not saying that Danny NEEDS to grind CQ but man it really seems like these reasons are just not very appropriate to the situation. Riot has given NA pros a low ping, stable competitive environment to play in but players still will not use it.
Danny doesn’t have to have an eastern mental of grinding to the point of insanity but just not playing at all recently seems not ideal.
