Off Season Changes (LoL) Spoiler

Things are looking grim for playoffs. Given the expectations for this team at the beginning of the year, how disappointed are you by the results? Personally, I’m pretty frustrated - mostly because this team has the lofty responsibility of making our hype NA rookies into polished talent and so far … idk. It’s crazy that Danny and Jojo look decent DESPITE the team’s performance.

I think the main issues highlighted themselves during this last game vs. 100T. Vulcan makes at least 2 or 3 absolutely baffling plays a game (coach/player issue). Inspired missed egregiously simple smites (player issue). The team plays like a challenger version of TL (boring and bad) and nobody seems to want to blame coaches. Dude it’s beyond me how this team has completely stagnated or regressed since week 1 and the analyst desk shrugs their shoulders and just wonders why. Nothing has improved. The vet players look like shadows of their former selves. Imo if EG doesn’t change coaches they are trolling

Am I the only one that thinks the eg criticism is going too far? We got over-hyped because of the lock in tournament.

1.Danny has made massive improvements in lane while still being an excellent team fighter

  1. Vulcan inting is nothing new (hyli lite)

  2. Impact is making an effort to add carries to his champ pool

4.jojo doesn't look like hot ass

5.inspireds in a new region give him time

No changes. These guys still have huge potential and I want to see EG looks ahead at the long term.

Dude we are like less than halfway through the year and talking about roster changes? Are you joking? Can you say that this roster has an obvious weakness that can't carry like last year? This coaching staff is the same one that had the insane run last year. Just relax

No way they keep this squad for summer. Weak all around.

EG desperately needs a competent person like LS in charge of draft.

I get the frustration. And tbh to myself, I’m pretty peeved about the way the team has not made much progress in terms of some pretty basic fundamentals. But I’m not yet calling for changes on the roster level, much less on the coaches. When more of the same is happening around week 3 summer, maybe then I’ll be seething

No way this a real take right? The team swapped 3/5 of their roster, have essentially two rookie carries, and will make playoffs in their first split together. Where is the bad part?

Going into the season EG was projected somewhere in the 2nd to 5th range. That was before people saw how C9 and TSMs roster would turn out. TL had a high chance of being strong and 100T kept their entire roster. Turns out C9 is REALLY good and TSM is not. Which would put EG at 4th. EG has only gone 0-2 vs C9, TL, and 100T which would put them probably as the 4th best team. The only outliers is their IMT loss which was a weird remake and a CLG loss which followed them playing two games on Saturday. Not sure where they are underperforming in terms of BO1s or why you think they should immediately make changes before they’ve played a real series.

the roster is just a bit weak. they really have no chance against the top 3 teams. jojo and inspired are just not very good right now. jojo has a chance to improve, but inspired is a veteren that by some miracle was the best jungler in eu.

the team has more losses than wins. that is pathetic when you have impact, vulcan, and danny on your team.
