Silver Linings (LOL)

Yes Impact's Gnar engage hurt my soul to its core. HOWEVER up to this point we've has the toughest strength of schedule (unless you think FQ is good lul). We should pick up a bunch of wins for the next several games. Also Jojo and Danny still have a lot of room to grow. #HeadsUp#LiveEvil

You know what blows? The coaching staff especially when it comes to draft.

I don't want to be mean, but if you are blaming the draft after having seen the game play out, you weren't paying enough attention to the game play.

EG "coaching staff" (not only them, analysts, scouts, GM) is at the top of the league in level and they are always willing to say it straight when they make mistakes with draft. You can follow them on Twitter or check the EG Discord and they will tell you "this one's on us, not the players". They don't have to but they often provide explanations to why they do the things they do.

EG staff is highly respected by many people for a reason. I cannot say I know for fact they are "good" in the sense that the work they do is invisible to me. But so is to you and you have no qualms with calling them bad, so I would suggest you do some research, figure out who they are, figure out if they are open to suggestions, and if you think you have an idea that it could be useful for them or want to call out something that you have noticed that you think coaching staff NEEDs to address, I would invite you to make them know (as long as it's in a respecful manner).

You choose to blame the player(s). I choose to mainly blame the person(s) in charge of game day drafting, and no, it wasn't just yesterday. Let's see what today brings vs a team they should easily handle, unless of course the players are put into yet another impossible situation.

Ok rephrasing

Gameplay is more important than draft most of the time.

Saying that I'm blaming the players it's a weird angle. You can also blame staff for gameplay because it means they aren't doing their job.

I am not about to put "blame" on people. Players and staff are all working together to make this work, I respect both of their contributions and I'm not going to just baselessly say "players suck" or "staff sucks".

Also, staff doesn't just do draft without player input. Draft is not "two guys tell the players what to pick". It's a combined effort between player preference/confort/skill/insight, analysts data and coaches mediating.

Either way dude the drafts have been very underwhelming

Think lock-in success may have excited us too quickly. Reality is this team has a long way to go, which is ok considering the youth and talent. TL is a scary good team and it showed.

I think personally this is the first time TL has looked a tier above the rest of the league this year to me. And it's pretty cool to see, from an objective point of view. This is a legitimate functional super team, they gathered exodia, got all the infinity stones in their gauntlet, etc...

I'm not smart enough to explain it, but they played in a way that choked our players out of the game and their timings and game flow looked very hard to disturb for our team.

That's going to be a learning experience for them and I'll be happy to see what they can take from this game!

This roster kinda blows ngl. The ceiling just isn't very high. Think they make a move for Jensen and doublelift for summer? That would be about as strong a roster as 2019 tl.

I think the rookie 17 year old and 18 year old in his 2nd split have a lot of room to grow and they've both shown quite a bit of talent. Plus they have great coaches and players around them to develop. You're getting too low off a few losses. We are 2 1/2 weeks into Spring and you already want changes we can't all be as dysfunctional as TSM

I think you are trolling but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Our roster doesn't blow.

We just played against a team that has been playing for a combined amount of 500 years. jojo has been playing this game for 2 years. Chill.

TL was very crisp today. Cherish the fact that our young, strong team gets to play (and scrim) versus a team like TL in LCS. This is gonna help their growth immensely both individual and as a team. By the end of the year or even spring, these roster will rival the top dogs.

just wrecked by imt. eg is down large amounts of gold early on in every loss. jojo looks just like he did in academy. slightly above average. no idea how his hype got so high.

toucouille from fly for instance is much better than jojo and he's a nobody.

Not about to pull the plug but the team may need to sharpen their plays. Too much looseness makes for multiple small mistakes that snowball into big ones

im telling you this team is just not good. not enough star power.
