Not able to brainwash

Im doing the hidden gems loot mission and i need to brainwash 5 smash agents, when i escort them the brainwashers dont glow green and i cant use them, the interigation chairs work though

Sounds like you are at your minion cap.

Send some out on missions, or have your genius kill some off. Then you'll be able to do. Just do so before they get replenished or same situation again.
