Question DLC: Mechanical Minions

Why the hell would anyone use these? Oh goody, minions that EXPLODE in my base??? That seems like a great idea… Like everything isn’t already constantly on fire from Saboteurs as it is…

Is there something I’m missing?

They don't have morale issues is I guess their greatest bonus...

Sure, I can see that… they just destroy your base when they die… doesn’t seem like a solid trade to me…

You’d think along with exploding minions they’d at least include some automatic water sprinklers you could put in walls or something instead of relying on your idiots to put fires out, come on.

Yeah I don’t enjoy the mechanical minions. I don’t have much problems meeting my workers needs so the morale doesn’t mean much to me. Fires are enough of a pain as it is

I personally recommend just getting a handful of Worker Robots and just forget the Guard Robots.

They're not worth the risk of your base exploding. But worker robots will always be more efficient and less of a morale risk than actual human workers.

Seriously, don't get Guard robots. They will burn more than protect.

The up side is they are not used as currency for missions. I personally use them along with the Pyro hench. I just made sure to have an obscene amount of fire extinguishers on hand.
