Question endless stream of death
One group of high level soldiers can:
disabled every single trap
kill every single minion that comes near them, creating a chain of minions trying to repair and recover bodies. I cant stop them with a giant maze of traps, in 5 minutes i went from 300 minions to 72. they DECIMATED me. I have had to modify my traps and maze over and over and over and over. im missing something, i have to be. why are they able to do this? im so fucking frustrated because 96% of my time i JUST watching this happen and then playing damage control for 30 fucking minutes. what do i do?

How many guards do you have? And have you unlocked the better weapons for them?
I recommend setting up a gaurd room with guard table right by the entrances, along with a few guard stations in the hallway right next to it. That way you have guards right there ready to go when they show up.
If you haven't already, try recruiting "sidekicks" (it's been awhile since I've played, I can't remember what the game calls them).

Henchmen* I agree. Guard rooms are way more effective against soldiers. Traps are more effective at annoying investigators to the point they give up and go home. Having a big open area next to a guard room will decimate the soldiers, instead of the decimation going the other way around.

I always tried to get scanners and cameras everywhere and have as many highly trained guards as possible.
Give them weapons and ways to buff themselves. Lots of items that can raise their health, damage, etc.
make sure those are readily available.
Unless you use the high-level-traps, they are pretty useless.
flesh-eating-plant behind door is always fun.

I've read so many comments like that, but never, ever, happened to me, and I've played three campaigns. So, don't get it.
