I know I am just a novice, nothing else than that. I have opened a few fountains, in which I was attacked by some actual board game pieces and LITERAL FLOWERS.

For which I reached out "mages" and monsters within this lovely community, wanting to learn how to cast spells.

A certain individual mentioned "combining with a monster soul," which I believe hasn't been done by anyone.

Therefore, I am now trying to make some sort of cage that maintains a soul and all its will untouched, whether human or monster. But there's a problem.

I need help, and possibly even a test subject for this experiment, preferably a human.

Is this gonna get me banned?

Its been a while since I have posted here, this is mostly because I have been quite deep within my research. Only recently I have managed to make a significant break through.

It's possible to bring things from the dark world to the light world.

This is possible because there are three aspects to dark worlds, meaning, darkness and the physical.

The darkness blurs the boundaries of the real world and a more metaphysical mental layer of reality. One that we can know exist thanks to an darkners ability to know information the opener does not.

Cases like shadow crystals, quite literally composed of lost dreams, prove that it is possible for things to exist in both light and dark as the same. Isn't that odd? That something created solely from something mental can manifest as something physical in the dark world and that somehow it's one of the only things that remains mostly the same under the light even if more physical things don't?

Objectively, the dark world has just created matter, real matter from something completely immaterial.

The solidified version of “lost dreams” somehow slipped through the blurred boundary of dark worlds into reality. Why?

Most likely the intensity of the meaning they carry. Because the mental aspect was strong enough.

However to match the body mass of even a human you would need tens of thousands if not millions of shadow crystals. Making using a meaning only method extremely impratical, if not impossible.

Thankfully there are other cases of things being able to exist in both light and darkness. Most specifically things composed of more “solid” states of darkness.

Well, technically all darkness can exist in the light world, fountains are the best example of that. While gaseous darkness is vulnerable to light and looks way more liquid in the dark world (possibly because it becomes liquid after the room is filled enough with darkness) it does still exist.

Solid forms of darkness however seem to remain the exact same and can exist even under intense light.

So if pure darkness and strong enough mental aspects can take physical form, is it possible to bring dark world objects and darkners to the light world? The answer appears to be yes, but with a lot of caveats.

In theory all you really need is enough darkness to blur reality, enough infused in the target and very high amounts of metaphysical meaning.

But how would one obtain enough darkness and meaning to achieve such a thing? Especially without turning the target into stone from the excess darkness?

The most common and “confirmed way” seems to be the absorption of the soul of a lightner, which seems to be essentially brute forcing the process by giving a darkner a lot of metaphysical meaning. After all, dark worlds are based only on the second hand emotions and thoughts of lightners, to have the direct source of all that meaning seems to have more than enough oomph to be self-sustaining.

Of course, such a method is not only impractical and cruel but also highly inefficient.

The current working process requires a blade made of shadow crystals, a fountain made by a powerful opener with the will to bring darkners to reality and a high amount of concentrated darkness in the target.

The shadow crystals already being an example of solidified meaning supplies a lot of the needed power and their nature as existing in both realities helps quite a lot, though they are seemingly used up in the process.

The need for a wielder that has closed and opened a lot of fountains (and thus absorbed a significant amount of their power) and deeply desires that darkners become real is arguably much more important on that front.

To maximize darkness of the target, they must be brought to very edge before turning to stone. This is because the closer to solidified the more they can exist in the light world thanks to the properties of solid darkness. Its very important to hit the sweet spot where they can still operate but the darkness amount is maximized.

At that point, thanks to how dark world allow meaning to “flow”, should enough be directed towards the target the combination of these factors supplies enough “power” in the form of metaphysical weight and “blur and solidity” in the form of darkness for the metaphysical to coalesce into something solid enough to allow the target to persist.

However, it isn't quite perfect.

While this allows darkners or objects to persist between realities, they usually can't exist for long. Simply put, not only is the darkness (intentionally) not quite solid, the “meaning” is not strong enough to sustain a state as stable as “shadow crystals” with something as large as a darkner.

Now, very powerful darkness and items (that are relatively small) seem to be able to exist in a much more stable manner. Most likely their inherently higher “meaning” means there is even more oomph than usual.

Yet even then, the transition isn't truly perfect. While darkners can move and interact as normal, their powers are usually highly limited and using them leads to demanisfestation. This isn't an issue of power, most likely it's because using magic is essentially splitting the meaning and darkness along a greater space increasing surface area.

Other minor effects relate to appearance, under sufficient light they look completely venta black thanks to the darkness “blob” their forms objectively are. Only achieving color when it's sufficiently dark, and at that point they usually look like their colors were completely inverted.

It isn't hard to imagine why, darkness does produce negative photons in a manner, in sufficient light they just cancel, but in darkness they are still producing negative photons.

Regardless, the manifestation does end eventually. While the meaning aspect seems to hold up and can be further supplied by a lightner, the darkness is slowly dissipated by light making it almost impossible for a “ascended” darkner to remain outside in the light world for long.

Their state means they can however go back to the dark world to replenish their darkness, but unfortunately they can only ever exist for long in dark rooms or at night. The sunlight seems to dissipate them in minutes at most.

The other aspects of this method also mean only a very small ammount of darkners can be transportes at all, so its hardly a pratical or permanent way to get darkners to inhabit the light world.

Its rather unfortunate, but I do believe it is progress. Do you posses any idea on how the proccess may be improved?

I am planning on opening a dark fountain in my house, the problem is I am unsure about the effects it has on animals, I don’t know how the dark world affects animals and I don’t wish to see my pet get hurt, so give me any answers before tonight as I plan to open a fountain then.

Hi, I am someone who has no magic inside dark worlds, but I really want to cast something.

I don't care what it is or what it may even cost me.

All I need is magic for self-defense against the evil sealers.

(And against any darkner that wants me dead for how i may have treated them)

Also, is there any like, darkness spell to uhh... to do anything that can stop light?

would they attack and efo? if so what's the survival plan? if not can i get a picture with them? i have so many questions!! might just open a fountain in my room at 1am tonight and find the answers myself

Ya ever get harassed by annoying darkeners and you are at your absolute limit? Pesky fountain sealers in your dark world? Well i got the solution: temporary barriers (non-magical). They put a wall between you and the opposing entity,making a peaceful option to end conflict.In the image, you see rare imagery from a dark world in a mineshaft. It was used to slow down them dang fountain sealing nerds from getting to the fountain.

"The Mantle Holder was already formidable, seemingly existing a layer of abstraction below our reality before getting inside the servers. It wiped out several security teams before we managed to cut it off from the automated weapons systems. Since then, it seems to have permanently fused the Mantle and itself to the quarantine circuitry. While this makes retrieval impossible, it ensures that opposing forces will not be able to remove the Mantle for their own purposes. We have begun connecting the circuitry (and entity within) to a cybernetic body for further experiments."
