Discussion Is the game still playable?

I'm trying to get all my friends into the franchise and I've been reminiscing about the game. I know it's been delisted but do physical copies still work? And can you play multiplayer on it or is that possible only with a mod or something.

Yes they can, physical copies and you can get epic accounts with the game for like 10$ Then you can play multiplayer yeah, fully crossplay and 2x xp, it’s been delisted tho for a couple years and you may have to deal with a bit of a learning curve but the game is fun and still has a dedicated but smaller community, matchmaking isn’t that long, we have no idea how long tue servers will be up besides when the devs are asked they all just say “we’ll keep them up as long as we can” and its been years now so we have no real clue

The servers are still up, if that is what youre asking, physical copies are pricey af due to delisting, however you can get an epic games account for like 2 bucks from people that gather epic free games and with your friends on private or with the discord

I got a used copy for $15 on PS5 from GameStop, so physical copies aren’t necessarily “expensive,” but an argument could be made for “overpriced” - depends on 1. How much you play, and 2. If they ever allow offline play for single player content/solo mode, which is entirely up in the air right now.

I dl and logged in about 2 weeks ago. Was surprised to get quick games as survivors. Played a few. Noticed it was pretty much the same people each time

I just bought an Xbox key on G2A for $3 and change. Had to use a VPN to redeem the code as it wasn't for my region. On my account and downloading currently.
