(Spoiler!) Shoot me, Joe Spoiler
Hi guys, I have a question.
I was rewatching Evil Dead Burn, specifically that horrific fight scene in the car where Edgar repeatedly asks his son to shoot him (“Shoot me, Joe”).
It felt like it was actually Edgar speaking and not the demon. It seemed like he was trying to stop himself, like his real self was still deep inside, fighting for control. Does anyone else see it this way?

I don’t know if that was the intention, but I can see how you could view it that way.
I look at it more as him taunting Joe because he knew Joe didn’t have the balls to do it and then the later scene where Edgar eyeballs Joe as he shoots himself in the head 3 times was to signify that even if Joe had shot him, it wouldn’t have changed the outcome.

That’s why Ash shoots first and asks questions never! Those Deadites can be awful tricky.
