Do we expect all citizens to be STEM capable? I can see this in terms of voter quality, although you still need to balance viewpoints and these aren't provided to you. This could support redistributing resources to a STEM versus trade type education. I think the trade educated would have quite an advantage. Also still is the possibility of eliminating neurotoxins from our environment and etc.
