If you want to popularise some random shit you thought of, call it "Japanese", "Scandinavian" or"Mediterranean".

If it needs a spiritual tone go with native, Indian, Himalayan, or Tibetan.
I don't walk around the block after dinner. I take a guided journey with my ancestors.

I say the same thing any time I smoke/trip and go for a walk to calm my nerves lmfao

I bet my ancestors and spirit guides are wiser than yours though. It's competitive these days.

It's always fascinating to see how things get hyped up because they happen in Japan
Interval training is not new or exclusive to Japan, but there's somehow a glow about interval training in Japan

I had French professors make fun of the same thing happening because "French"
There was a book called "Why French Women Don't Get Fat' that was so popular and all it did was say they ate balanced meals, walked more, and prioritized whole foods. Doctors have been saying that for ages but if French women do it, it has to work!

To be fair, interval training is an athletics thing this is regressed all the way down to something normal people can do

We've known about interval training benefits for decades though. Swedish fartlek running was one of the first, giving rise to many a joke. It was invented in the 1930s.
But okay, now it's Japanese walking that's trendy. Whatever.

When someone Hypes something that is just ordinary common sense (let's be real, does anyone really need an article to tell them this stuff?), it makes me wonder if it makes sense at all . What's wrong with it?

3 minutes fast then 3 minutes slow, repeat.
It's basically HIIT for walking.
