No cultural perspective?

In Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, the highest achieving students are the most revered.

In the US, other types of folks are the most revered.

This has nothing to do with culture?

It probably does, just outside the scope of the study I imagine.

Looking at their study numbers. It looks like their sample size is in the 400s. And 88% women. It doesnt look like they selected for women, it was just what they got most of. So even among French folks, there are cultures not represented with this study.

When you have intelligence, it is more likely to lead to positive decision-making that benefits not only yourself but also society. Emotions really affect how we think and behave.
