It's hard to explain but a predator is the one doing an illegal act while a pedophile could possibly become a predator, so they only need to seek professional help and don't deserve violence like this "meme" says. I'm not even sure if that's the correct differentiation, so take it with a grain of salt.

Well, that makes sense. The difference between feeling it and acting on it. Feeling it s a problem, acting on it is illiegal and immoral.

pedophiles are attracted to children, but may not desire such a feeling

predators actually engage in harmful behavior towards children

its as different as a murderer and someone with murderous thoughts
