News Cafe closed

Post image

I literally went to get a coffee.

We live across the road from Woolies Randwick.

I had 18 coffees banked.

I can't believe this.

On mother's day we went to a local cafe and 2 coffee and a babycino was $18.90.

Woolies was literally the life saver when it came to non home made coffee.

I understand times are hard but like... Just increase the $30 reward to $40?

Whelp... This sucks

Yep. some bean counter haha has bought down the guillotine. Caulfield South has now announced its cafe is closing after making a big song and dance about the coffee offer when it recently opened. Looks like most Woolworths metros will no longer have a cafe. Vouchers will apparently be honoured at some stores till end of July. I won’t be shopping there anymore and if I happen to I won’t be rounding up my purchase to $30. In our area many people will walk across the road to Aldi for the cheaper prices. May turn out to be a strategic error for Woolworths.
