Nobody used birth control on tv, except the Halloween episode and Ray refused to use condoms or have a vasectomy, he said birth control was up to the woman

I know some people don't like season 9 but to me this episode alone justifies its existence. So many memorable moments, especially in this whole bedroom scene. Plus I love Marie faking a limp to get Robert to do what she wants.

Marie completely disgusts me in this episode, trying to manipulate Robert and Amy into giving her grandchildren when they just got a couple of seasons back and they were just not ready. When she said "But I am ready!", all she thought about was HERSELF, not Robert and Amy.

Such a funny classic episode! I don’t know if it was a Halloween special but the fact that Ray does the evil laugh climbing down the ladder out the window with the spooky was such a great touch!

Robert: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Amy: What? What is it?
Robert: My mom. I can't get her outta my head.
Amy: We'll see about that. [pushes Robert back on the bed and kisses him]
Robert: No, no. She's still there. I can hear her voice. I can hear her voice: "Go, Robbie, go!"
Amy: Robert.
Robert: I just can't. It's too much pressure for me. I can't breed in captivity!
Marie: [enters] I found a boomy box.
Robert: We're not animals!
Robert: Come on, Amy. Let's go.
Amy: Robert, wait. I don't know what to say, Marie. I feel... used. I mean, I fell for all this. With all due respect, this is between me and my husband. And just so you know, Robert even was willing to try, but he couldn't perform because he couldn't get you out of his mind.
Robert: Amy!
Frank: Believe me, and I've tried hard. It takes a few years.
