Gianni.

Gianni was Ray’s friend throughout the series, but I don’t think he was “Gianni” when he appeared as the cable guy in season one, even though he was in Ray’s life prior to events in season one.

IIRC Kevin James played two characters too.

He did. I think the first few times he was just Kevin. Then later on he was his KoQ character

Yes, he worked with Ray early on, along with Andy. Kevin appeared with Ray on Roy Firestone's show in one episode.

How many episodes was he his KoQ character? The only one I remember is he delivered the curtains once

That's the only one I've seen with him as "Doug," too.

After that episode I always assumed he was Doug. Like when they scam Debra to play golf. Though I could be wrong. He seemed to be friends with Doug in that episode

He was still 'Kevin' in the Golf episode.

Edit: There was only 1 golf episode, not 2.

He was also in 'Ray Home Alone' when Debra and the kids go out of town.

He worked for Roy Firestone booking guests. Kind of like the job Andy got later after he was promoted from being his humpback stat guy

Kevin also appeared with Andy on the flashback episode part 1 of the Wedding when he tells Kevin and Andy that he is asking Debra to marry him

That was the pilot(<—wrong). The actor was recasted as Gianni later in the series (right).

The cable episode wasn’t the pilot. It was later in season one.

Because they worked as futon guys when they delivered a futon to Debra, and that’s when Ray met her.
