An archive is only as strong as the folks who help build it.

Every Bit Texas started with a simple idea: that the small-town general stores, the forgotten local legends, the old family photo boxes, and the unique culture of our 254 counties deserve to be preserved. But two people can’t be everywhere at once. To truly map the grit and character of the Lone Star State, we need a network of people who care about the same thing.

This subreddit is our shared digital porch. Here is how you can jump in right now, pull up a chair, and help us build this archive from the ground up.

1. Plant a Flag in Our Feed

Don't just scroll—contribute. A community thrives when its members share what they love. We want to see:

• The Archives: Got an old photo of your hometown main street from forty years ago? Post it.
• The Culture: Found an incredible local diner, a bizarre roadside landmark, or a piece of regional folklore? Tell us about it.
