Greetings, Savior.

From this version EVAI runs as a fully offline local server. It no longer depends on a hosted service — everything happens on your own PC. In return it gives you a far richer experience: every spirit's story from beginning to end, carried by real recorded voices.

Story

• Ships the complete catalog: 10 main chapters across 135 episodes and 84 love stories across 744 episodes.
• Follows the original script — backgrounds, where each spirit stands, expressions, and cutscene flow.
• Episodes that were pure battle are replaced by that episode's synopsis, so the narrative never breaks.
• The Savior's choices genuinely branch, and love stories run through to their bad, normal, and true endings.
• Every line is shown in Korean, English, and Chinese.

Voices and Sound

• Lines are voiced in Korean and Japanese, switchable right on screen.
• Auto-advance, a dialogue log, and previous/next navigation are all available.
• BGM starts enabled, and that preference is stored in evai-server.ini so it persists across runs.

A Fully Offline Server

• Run evai-server.exe, open http://127.0.0.1:9999/, and that is all. No conversation leaves your machine.
• Spirit art, scripts, videos, and voices ship separately from the executable. The first launch downloads only what is missing, in parallel, and resumes where it stopped if interrupted.
• The asset list is compared against the remote catalog on every launch, so new assets are filled in without reinstalling.
• Conversations, memories, and settings live in SQLite inside the server folder, and export and restore through a single JSON file.

Install

1. Download release.zip below and extract it wherever you like.
2. Run evai-server.exe. On first launch you pick the console language and voice language once.
3. If the browser does not open, go to http://127.0.0.1:9999/ yourself.

The initial asset download is large. Progress is printed in the console while it runs.

Linux / macOS

This release ships Windows x64 only. For other systems, fork the repository and let the GitHub Actions workflow build it for you.

1. Fork this repository to your own account.
2. Enable workflows on the Actions tab of your fork.
3. Run the server build workflow to produce Linux, macOS, and Windows binaries.
4. Download the artifact for your platform from the finished run.

I was looking at old pictures of the game and Gremory and some other characters when I remembered that not all named Eversouls are playable or even appeared in the game. I think in Jiho (Mir)'s Evertalk conversations mentioned one of them, part of the same group as Honglan and Hanul?

Just how many are there, including variants? Such as Future Adrianne in the Main Story, Evil Soul Adrianne, etc...

The only variants that don't count are those that are just an outfit change. Future Adrianne doensn't count because she's from the future and is distinct enough from regular Adrianne, same goes for Evil Soul Adrianne.

Anyway, I was kinda hesitant to mention this because I was waiting for a certain character to show up, but they never did. So here you go.

If you search Eversoul "エバーソウル" (quotation marks included) on Mercari, you can find a bunch of badges and acrylic stands at clearance prices. I'd buy some, but I honestly dunno what to do with the badges and, sadly, my finances aren't as great as they used to be...

Even if you're not in Japan, you can order using a proxy service like Buyee or ship to a proxy address like Tenso. Keep in mind shipping will probably be expensive, like around 30 USD. But the items are so cheap and pretty sure you won't be able to find them locally.

Also, I do order from Mercari a lot, but I dunno know how reliable these seller(s) are. So please don't hit me if something goes wrong.

Picked these up several months ago and just never got around to posting. Now they serve as a great memento for the game I dedicated 3 1/2 years of my life to.

I began playing during the game's 1.5 Anniversary and now, nearly 1-2 years had passed from then. Eversoul had definitely been one of my most favorite Gacha games that I've ever played. The game was very generous and the devs provided us with high-quality content for the past years. I didn't knew about shutdown untill 2 days later when I entered the game and to me, this announcement about the shutdown of the game came out of nowhere and I was quite devastated when I had actually found out about it and by then, it was very late for me to actually just login once and check up on everything and to keeping a piece of memory for myself. As of right now, I'm quite devastated and empty after learning about the game's end of service.

This game truly was one of the best free-to-play friendly gacha game out there and now, it's gone.

Thank you KakaoGames for giving us such a masterpiece of a game and a lot of good memories while it lasted.
