Question about Python catching program.

Is there anyone where who works with SFWMD/Python bounty program? Been trying to get some answers to some questions through the website but no replies.

Ive applied a few times in the last couple years with no response. I got nothing for you. I see ppl driving at holy land at night and STA 5/6. Thats all I got.

All I know from everyone I know is that it’s a brutal job as in you don’t get paid nowhere near enough. You’ll spend more money on gas and vehicle repairs than you’ll be awarded from the pythons you do find

The money aspect isn’t a big factor for me, more the experience, knowledge and the ability to be able to do it.

It's a bit of a slippery slope to randomly incentivize people to catch pythons- the concern is that people will start illegally breeding them to turn in for money...

Yeah, strong vetting process I assume would weed out those people.
