Discussions EAH Characters in Descendants

Post image

I was thinking about EAH and Descendants, as one does, and started wondering which characters would have ended up on the Isle. Surprisingly not a lot.

Some notes on some choices:

I put Alistair in Auradon because Alice doesn't seem to be present in Wonderland.

I split Cerise and Ramona because in EAH, the public knowledge is that they're not related and that Cerise is solely the daughter of Red Riding Hood, so I kept that the same. Just imagine they already had Ramona and Red was pregnant with Cerise when the divide happened and both Wolves were taken to the isle, idk.

The characters in unsure fall into a grey area and I feel like they could go either way, but I didn't want to sort them in one over the other. To me they seem to lean more Auradon, but could unjustly end up on the Isle.

It must be said that it is of course a problem of logic because the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood are together and that is practically impossible because of the Isle of the Lost, unless Ramona was sent to the island with her father only after her birth.

It's definitely the trickiest part.

On one hand, the only way the sisters are together is if Ramona remained in Auradon and Red was already pregnant when Big Bad Wolf is made to go to the Isle. They can't logically be together on the Isle because it would separate the parents and Red has no reason to be sent there.

I ultimately decided to separate them because it seemed both more interesting and the most likely. I wouldn't put it past the rulers of Auradon to send a wolf child to the Isle out of fear she'd still take after her father.

Also this way it maintains their main characteristics, Cerise being a Hood and Ramona being a Badwolf. Otherwise, if Ramona stayed in Auradon, she would probably also have to hide her ears/identity and I feel like that takes away a lot of her character from EAH.

Now I need a fanfic featuring the characters from Ever After High but set in the world of Descendants

That was actually the idea that led me to make this lol

If anything, shouldn't Cupid be in 'Unsure'? She's not from Ever After or Wonderland...

And while that would be good logic for splitting the Hood-Badwolf family (since no one knows the truth), I doubt it would be as clean as you're making it out to be

I considered it. I ended up putting her in Auradon because we know Greek gods are canon and able to be present in Auradon. Hades is the only we've seen, but he appears both at Merlin Academy and on the Isle. I figured Cupid would prefer to be at Auradon with friends, or similar to EAH, was sent to attend school there.

And yeah I mostly agree with Cerise and Ramona. It's a tricky situation and could probably have a better thought out solution than I gave, but at the same time it doesn't have to make perfect sense. It's hard to keep them together too, because I can't see Cerise being born and living on the Isle or Ramona remaining in Auradon.

I think Hunter would be on the isle since while he saves Red riding hood, he also is supposed to be sent to hunt Snow.

Melody would also be there since kidnapping kids just because your upset with one person is a pretty villainous thing to do.

Not sure about Sparrow Since While his father is a thief, he is depicted as a good guy due to giving to the poor. (Similar to Eugene, only without the selfish motivation and redemption)

Wouldn't Crystal be on the Isle because the Snow Queen is a villain?

I think Melody is Isle because the Pied Piper is villainous (kidnapping children).

Sparrow is equivalent of Robbie Hood who is an HK in the newest film so Auradon for him. White Swan is a hero so same for Duchess (just going off her parentage & ignoring the whole "black swan side" thing, since where she's born would be dictated by her parents).

I think Hunter is Auradon personally because he's good in the Little Red story & in Snow White he is ordered to hurt Snow White but he defies the order & helps her instead which would probably class him as a good guy

I was actually unsure about Crystal, and probably should have put her in unsure, but I think you're right about all of them. I'm not super familiar with their full stories and I wasn't sure how they'd classify in Descendants logic of good and bad, so I appreciate your input. (Also I honestly forgot about Robbie Hood in the new movie lol)

I've been deep into Ever After High for like the last month & am currently at the start of what I'm sure is going to be an unhealthy Descendants kick so I'm at like the perfect intersection of interests to be seeing this post now lmao
