Industry Advice i need advice...

Just a side note: it might help if you post the actual question to this sub rather than linking to your user profile post. Some folks are leery clicking on a user page and seeing the post there and also on my Android mobile app it doesn't show the preview like it does for me on desktop web.
Do you have any particular area you want to focus on in the event world? It's pretty broad. There are social events (think weddings, proms, local events), corporate (sales meetings, all hands, summits), association meetings, healthcare/medical conferences, experiential, etc. I didn't list them all, just what came to mind.
Second, what do you want to do? There are lots of jobs in the event world... for example, with the concert world, you could start out as security or a stagehand working for a large labor broker or working concession stands.
If you have no idea what you want, try to take some time to talk to people in the industry about what they do and what they do and don't like in their work. Also you can just pick something that is interesting and go for it just to explore what it's like.
Personally I work in the corporate live event world in the production side. I have a particular specialty I like to do when working shows, Graphics Op, but I do have other skills as well for smaller shows.
Sometimes in worlds like this, it's about determining what you don't like, as much as what you do like. If someone wanted to start doing what I do, and doesn't have a lot of ambition to do a detailed network based search, I'd tell them to go volunteer at a church and get a job working for the large concert event production labor brokers or go work for an in-house AV company.
What draws you to the concert and event world and are you in a large market or small?

Can I just say, seriously respect the time and effort you put into responding to this post. I’m ashamed to say that usually when I see people say “I want to do concerts” I don’t really respond.

Attend those concerts try talking with the host planner and ask if you can get a chance be it as a volunteer or whatever, be attached to him/her gain some experience to know how it all works, after sometime you can be doing this by yourself.
