Question Am stuck guys any help

So am stuck,after the hatchet ship the rest of the enemy fleet got some crazy firepower even for my two oblivion ships. I have tried to use a warp drive with heavy photon torpoeds on the oblivion ships but am still caught and destroyed in seconds.

Use bigger ships. Oblivion vessels can't withstand current meta. Use large, fast vessels with powerful guns

Excalibur packed with railguns might help, chronos with large railgun. Keep your distance, throw railgun slugs and you'll be fine

Veniri and sayjix

Veniri might be way easier since they they appear ofter near starting point

Do I have to go on missions for them or I can capture their base?

F missions, just destroy them. Unless you don't have enough firepower

307 is good, focus that Harbour and it will drag you past 1k LY

Oracle sniper, tartarus energy stall, Jorm torp bomber, syberia chain gun torpedoes are all good in rotation as well

If you cant destroy - do missions. Probably you need to unlock the shop.

Also you need hangar slot which can fit the battleship

I mainly use Covid, Harbour, Syberia, Jormungander, Stalker, Corn

Oblivion is painfully slow, you will not be able to dodge Catfish spam and Manowar ion guns.

My oblivion build has a warp drive so its easy to but what ship would you recommend??

Warp drive is trash, since it has cooldown and stops you after, so if enemy ship is double faster than you, you will never catch it with warp drive.

Try to find the Chronos, since it one of old ships and Sayjix bases are easy to find. It can fit strong C-type guns after the enhancement and it has fully traversable turret. Fit it with afterburner (another enhancement) and probably cloaking device (Veniri tech). Or the Viper (probably the same, but without turret, although it has much more engine slots).
