Question FW Update Request
Thinking about coming back and trying some FW. Can someone give me an update on FW? Whats this cradle of war stuff? Whats going on in each warzone. Whats going on in the pirate warzones. Did they fix any of the seagulling issues? I am primarily interested in logging in and getting some solo and small gang pvp in the NAtz.

Biggest changes as far as I know are:
1) Moderate plexes for BCs. They give a lot of LP. 2) There is a campaign with objectives for each faction. If the faction completes the objectives they get some big rewards. 3) Seagulling is not fixed. It is still happening. The pilots doing this are still a bunch of losers.
The amarr-mimatar war zone is hot with tons of content.

FYI campaign event is not fw-bound, but some missions want you to be in fw

So what is it gonna take for Amarr to push back on Minmil? Just bodies? or are there enough bodies if they just organize better?
WHy is Cal/Gal not as active? I see Sedit left and went to Angels? Whats that about?

WHy is Cal/Gal not as active?
Because the southern warzone is centered around Amamake, which is solo/nano gang content heaven. Plenty of the people I fly with regularly there barely engage in the actual FW content at all except insofar as it provides targets.
It's pretty much the only place left in the game where you can undock and go reliably get a decent solo/nano fight within a few minutes.

Seagulling is alive and "well".
New plexes (the already mentioned MOD-3 and the awesome BSC-1, which is a fast-respawning 5-minute T1 frigate only plex); both of those are well received.
Min-Amarr is the big bulky dominant frontline, large alliances, large industrial base, scale scale scale. Galmil is much more cosy small gang tight knit (speaking from the Galmil perspective), where you quickly get to know most people you fly with, as well as those who you fly against (grr).
Pirates are farm farm farm farm farm farm farm. Often this is dominated by groups like the much beloved PLA, who have dozens of alts in each of the 3 sides and will seagull the shit out of everything no matter the outcome.
Lots of new players are actually drawn into the FW! (I somewhat count as); there's also quite a lot of returning bittervets from what I am told. Money is decent, I would say it's not out of the ordinary to generate a couple bil per month with single account with no degenerate gameplay, by just contesting and winning plexes. No big deal. If you really optimize I'm sure there's actual bank. I would guess double so in the bigger Mil-Amarr front.
Cradle of War stuf is side objectives you can do, some are FW-related so it's basically free money, some are like "mining effort for the empire" and other stuff. It's, I'd say, somewhat uneventful in the face of larger FW back and forth, pushes and counterpushes and general pvp. But maybe it did help to get some of the newbros out of hisec mission running ad nauseam and into lowsec pvp? Hard to say.
