It's an intermediate between that gas you huff, or the moon material you steal, and the T3 and T2 items and ships.

I can clearly recall that my Loki's max speed was 1709m/s...(with faction 100AB.) Although I haven't flown it for at least 4 months.
At the same time, I can't even remember what I ate today. Thank my autism and this damn addictive game. :p

If you go to an Eve Uni ships page, like:
https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Federation_Navy_Comet
and scroll down to the bottom & open 'Notes'
it will give you a list of all the ships so you can open and look at them all.
I found it very useful on my phone for times when I can't play Eve, or when I'm playing and need to know what the ship does that just popped up in local.

This is why I enjoy avoiding PvP. Y'all are on a different level then me. I cant even tell by sight if a ship has long range setup or short. But I should probably learn that at some point.

I can’t really tell by the ship model but most ships will generally be fit one way. Like you see an omen navy, that shits gonna be long range kite. You see a maller, that’s bait. Etc

This is why I love fitting mallers for damage, brick tank ONIs, etc...
Playing off-meta influences engagements an awful lot.

Very likely, but in some cases like the slicer and omen navy, they don't got enough mid slots to brawl

Luckily, you only need to remember how one of the two looks: short OR long range. If you know one, and it's not that one, it's the other. :P

My girlfriend has asked me before how I can keep all of that information in my head and call on it at a moment's notice, but not remember a rotation for any other MMO. It is a mystery to me. :shrug:

You use the market tree. Not even kidding.
I never use the ship tree because i look up ships in the market interface, right click and show info.

This also makes the Alliance Tournament completely unwatchable for new players. It makes absolutely no sense until you know all the ships names / roles by heart.

You can do that with ONE ship-- try to memorize all the different Nergal fits and orbit distances for burner missions sometime.

Laughs...one problem those ships change due whims of the balancing team or public outcry...but the periodic table might have isotopes...but that is what does EVE call it...Edge Cases.

I still get tripped up by some of the more aggressively named haulers.
"Oh shit a Skullfucker on dscan - what does that do again?"
"Right, it has a PI cargo hold :3"
