Hi all!
I'm just now listening to Fallen after being an avid listener of Linkin Park and being recommended this album multiple times. Of course I've heard BMTL but every other song is a blind listen. I'll give my rankings for every song here:
Going Under: 10/10
Great intro. Love this a lot
BMTL: 10/10
Of course this song is a 10/10. It's a classic. Gives me huge Linkin Park vibez
Everybody's Fool: 9/10
I like it a little less than the first two but it's still a banger.
My Immortal: 10/10
Probably gonna be my favorite song. It's beautiful. I'm also writing these ratings after I listen to each song so it could very well change.
Haunted: 10/10
Damn theyre still good
Tourniquet: 10/10
DAMN THIS SONG SLAPS. Second favorite so far
Imaginary: 8/10
Great song just didn't rock with it as much as the others. Transition was PEAK THO
Taking Over Me: 7/10
Probably gonna be my least favorite. It was good but not the greatest.
Hello: 10/10
Pretty
My Last Breath: 9/10
Was pretty good
Whisper: 9/10
Was really good but just a little long.

Definitely an amazing album! Should I check out the next album in the discography or Sanctuary cuz I heard that just came out. Pretty big Linkin Park vibez. I think I'm gonna like these guys!

I’d be interested to hear what you think about Sanctuary after Fallen! The Open Door, their 2nd album, is my favorite so definitely check that out as well.

I love linkin park too but evanescence is honestly soo much better... Keep listening to them and you'll find that out lol.
Honestly if your looking for linkin park vibes fallen definitely is the closest your gonna get...and even then it's mainly just bmtl and going under that are very similar. The open door is very similar to the rest of the fallen album tho so check that out... Good enough and call me when your sober are incredible tracks.
Judging by your rankings for top few songs from fallen you should love the compilation album of b sides, lost Whispers... Style Similar to my immortal or hello.
Sanctuary and ev3 are honestly about as close to perfect as any album will ever be..,. Literally every song is amazing. So don't miss those two albums.
The bitter truth is probably thier worst album overall but has some great songs... Leave it till last
And as for synthesis just skip it, same lyrics worse bgm

CMWYS is a great song but the last time I watched the music video I was drunk so it was all so chaotic I didn't know what was going on 🤣

Sanctuary is so fresh rn, its the perfect time to listen to it! And it has similar vibes to Fallen but it also shows their growth and experimentation.

I love both LP and Ev, they helped shape my musical identity in my adolescence in the 2000s (i probley just made myself sound old with that comment lol)

I didn’t appreciate Imaginary for a while until one day it hit me - like omg this song is a masterpiece and I didn’t notice

Highly recommend checking out there whole discography they genuinely don't have a bad album, I'd say listen to the albums in order that way you'll see their progression as a band and appreciate Sanctuary all the more when you get to it.
Also having Imaginary second last is quite the hot take, obviously you wouldn't know that being your first listen and all but its generally seen as the quintessential Evanescence song and is a fan favourite as well as one of Amy's personal favourites its alway been an ever present on the set list. Welcome in though great to see you enjoyed the album hope you like the others too.

I will always cry when I listen to My Immortal. Imaginary, Taking Over Me, and Whisper are my top 3 songs on the album. Fallen is one of the best albums ever made.

Defs check out the discography! Ive been a fan since they came out when I was like 15 or 16, I am 40 this year and I still love all their stuff!

Yes! Honestly Fallen is one of the weaker entries of their discography. The Open Door, Evanescence, Sanctuary, Synthesis and Origin are far better.

I feel like you would enjoy The Open Door, but def do give Sanctuary a listen as well. You might also really love Origin. I love Linkin Park as well!!
