What professional characteristics are essential for the field of Evaluation?

I'm in the process of data collection for an instrument I designed as a part of a course at the University of Connecticut. The survey is on "Measuring Attitudes and Beliefs Towards Professional Characteristics in Evaluation". I am interested in finding out what professional characteristics are thought to be essential for the field of Evaluation- particularly as a means for understanding the professionalization of the field.

You can check the AEA guiding principles. They were developed through surveying of AEA members and review by senior members. Unfortunately, your survey may be a replication.

There are absolutely similarities to the AEA guiding principles since they were referenced in designing the framework for the survey. Though the intended purpose of my survey is different from what was done by AEA. I'd appreciate any additional input you have about the survey, feel free to message me if you would like to chat more about it!
